Hey cuties! I first started by trying to figure out what software I wanted to use. I was thinking about CapCut but then I thought about iMovie. But I decided on CapCut. So I did a rough because I’m not the one who is fully editing it. So I had to go back over the footage after Alexandra did so I could make sure we had good stuff before sending them to Kaylee. Aligning the cuts and transitions to the rhythm and tempo of the music was a little complicated because I had to cut up the song a little bit. I played around with coloring a bit and enhanced the scenes a little bit. I also tried to see what transitions I could do, I couldn’t find much though. I also played around with captions and texts, however, I did not like the way it looked. I then asked the group if it was a good rough draft to send to our official editor and everyone agreed that it was a good start. I then proceeded to explain to the editor what NOT to do. Hey cuties! So today was us finishing up on our filming, anything that we couldn’t get the first day we got today. It was still a little bit nerve wracking. But I worked through it and made sure to keep calm. I’m so excited to see the finished project. I think it’s gonna look absolutely amazing. For the filming, I was mostly having to act natural. I had to pretend I wasn’t being watched. Which was a little bit hard for me to do. I’m a very paranoid individual so I kind of constantly seem paranoid and I had to cut that out. I am glad that I got to film with one of my friends though. She made it a lot more comfortable and easy to do. We were acting like we were just regularly hanging out and not being filmed. At the end of the day, although it was scary, it was a lot of fun. It’s very interesting to have a camera following you around as you’re just regularly shopping. I thought I wouldn’t notice but I was feeling very self conscious during it. Which might be a little obvious during filmi

  Hey cuties! So last blog I was stressed out about the costumes but now I’m stressed out about the filming. I got to the mall earlier than everyone else, I got there around 11:45. With my boyfriend I started looking around the mall to see where the best places to film were. After that I then looked around the surrounding area to see if there was any good places to film. I found the places I liked to film and then met up with the other group mates. I told our producer, Alexandra, about the places and we started filming. I completely forgot about how loud malls can be. For a bit there I was very very overwhelmed. Everything was too loud and it was making me internally panic. But I tried to play it cool. We also had to ask random people to be in our film -due to some of our actors not being able to show up- which definitely added to the stress. I was also just trying act normal.   Hey cuties! So last time I was on here I was talking about being very excited about the costumes. However, I did not think about the costs of the clothes. I wanted everything to be a very specific theme and I forgot to check with everyone to make sure they had the clothes. It’s honestly been a very upsetting situation. I talked to the production crew and they also loved the idea of the clothing. But not all of the actors had clothes to fit in accordance of what I wanted. So I’ve had to try to be a bit more flexible with the clothing. Which is really hard because I’m a perfectionist. I thought it would be absolutely beautiful to have very contrasting clothing. However, I do think all the clothing fits nicely with my wanted theme. It’s not exactly how I wanted it. But I think it’ll look fine. Honestly I’m really excited to see how it looks when it’s completely finished. So far the filming looks quite nice. The outfits still contrast. But it’s just not in the way I want it to. I feel li

Hey cuties, so today we’re going to be talking about costumes! So for the costumes I was thinking long and hard about what I wanted to do. I had a general concept but I was still very in between ideas. So I went on Pinterest and started looking at some inspiration. I ended up finding outfits that I thought would fit really well with our ‘God’ character. For her I had already previously known that I wanted to be very feminine and very light. I wanted her to remind me of divine femininity. As soon as I picked exactly what I wanted for her I started thinking about how I could differentiate her and the humans. Thats when I decided I wanted them to have completely different color schemes. I started looking for darker outfits that I thought complimented her clothing very well. I also had to take into consideration where the characters would be. I wanted the clothing to be practical and comfortable. I didn't want them wearing winter clothes if it is 90° outside. Shot 1: The character playing "god" or G watches characters A, B and C. It would cutaway from G to A, B, C; the whole thing would be at eye level. While it was drawn at full body, the three shot could be a medium long shot.  Shot 2: This would be continuing from the three shot of A, B and C meeting a new person, character D to all of them going through some doors. This would be a tracking shot and at eye level. If you wanted you could make this one an over the shoulder shot (or D).  Shot 3: G is getting up (from there sit at the end of a tree) to follow the quad. This would to from an eye level angle to a low angle. Other then that, everything stays the same.  Shot 4: A jumpcut to inside the building, a mall where G watches (what looks to be) the camera. This is at a low angle, with a tiny zoom. This can be a medium long or medium shot.  Shot 5: Long shot of where G is in comparison to A, B, C and D. This is right before either a cut or zoom into the next shot. Shot 6: A scen

Hey cuties, so today we needed to research a bit. For our research we chose I don’t care by Violent Vira and Lolita by Violent Vira.     I don't care starts of as a tracking medium long shot. It then fades into a medium close up. During the medium long shot we see the main female lead, played by Vira, having flashbacks. After the flashbacks it switch to low medium shots then we see male lead from a low medium close up showing how Vira is viewing him. Although she’s viewing him from a lower angle she sees him as someone who does not have a lot of dominance and someone she doesn’t want to be with. This also shows a bit more of the storyline. We see Vira in a wedding dress and they’re at a wedding chapel, however, she is having very obvious doubts. It then pans out into a long shot, there is then a cutaway scene, showing Vira alone. Still seemingly contemplating everything. Throughout the entire video they mostly stick with long shots and medium long shots.   Lolita has the same theme

Hey cuties! Today I wanted to tell you who I’m working with. I will be working with three other people; Alexandra Soto; Kaylee West; and An Alysse McComie-Waterman! I chose to work with these three people because they’re my friends! I also trust that I’ll be able to work well with them. I feel like I get along with them really well. I also have class with them in the same period. Doing things during the class period will help so much. It allows me to talk about anything important I need to. I made two different group chats- one group chat has all three of us and the other has our actors as well as us. Picking a song was super easy for us. I suggested Violent Vira for the artist we use-I love her so much- and so everyone in the group listened to a few of her songs and we went on from there. We decided on three songs and then  gave ideas for each, however, you don’t get to hear about that now because that isn’t what this is about. Hey cuties! Although I go by Shae, my name is Honey. At FLHS, I am a sophomore. My birthday is April 28th, which makes me a Taurus. Pink is my favorite color, and pink and black are my favorite color combination. I love the color pink, but I don't have any pink clothing. Violent Vira is my favorite artist. One of my favorite ways to express myself is through music. It's really lovely and there are so many ways to accomplish it, allowing for so much creativity. I also love art so so much. It's something I can make my own way with complete freedom from concern for what other people think. I just adore cats because they are so adorable, innocent, and joyful. Some of my friends have called me cheerful and vivacious, while others have called me a light, someone who is trustworthy and consistently tries to be helpful.
